1.(6 x 7)^2 =(6^2) x (7^2) = (36) x (49) =1764

2.(4xy^2)^2 = (4^2)(x^2)([y^2]^2) =16 x^2 y^4

3.b^3 x b^4 = (2^3) x (2^4) = (8) x (16) = 128

4.(a^2)^3 = a^6 = 1^6 = 1

If I remember correctly
1. 42^2 because ^2 is the exponent so you keep that
2. 4xy^4 multiply exponents
3. replace b with 2 so you have 2^3x 2^4 which equals 8x16 which equals 128
4. replace a with 1 so you have (1^2)^3 equals 1^3, which equals 1

Hope that hepled if i'm wrong sorry

Ugh, math isn't my strong point. But...i'm pretty sure that for #3, since B=2, wait...lemme put it in steps.

B=2 so 2^3 x 2^4

2^3=8

2^4=16

8x16= 128 (final answer for #3)

Please forgive me if i'm wrong, but i'm pretty sure that's how you do it.
