Mulch was free wood chips the city offers.So I know where the fungi came from.Just need to know how to get rid of it. With out hurting the evergreens and flowers and plants.

Mushrooms are the fruiting body of a large underground network feeding on the mulch. They are harmless and do not need treatment.

If you don't like to look at them, pick them and put into your compost.

rake thru the mulch to both help it dry out and to destroy the mushrooms (so kiddies and pets don't get them)... when the mulch is dry-er the growth of them should stop... agree, there's nothing wrong, you just got a good crop of spores with your mulch...

They're harmless. Any fungicidal spray from a hardware store will kill them.
