...I think that most die-hard cult film fans can agree, both of these films, amongst others, can easily claim the most auspicious title, as the 'cream of the crop' of Grindhouse cinema; oh, such grit...such grime...such filth...so much gratuitous sex and ultra-violence...I almost have to take a cleansing shower, just thinking about these two delightfully grizzled and sweaty features playing together, let alone having to take one, after braving a three-to-four hour stint in the absolute filth of an actual Grindhouse cinema...
