I love it. I wish I could marry it.

It is made in the region I live in (in and near Agadir Morocco). It is so delicious. It is a simple dough cooked on top of hot stones. It has very little 'center fluff' (cooks up more like a chipati). When it is fresh off the rocks of an earthen oven it is the best! Sometimes you even get a small rock with it, lol.

I've never had it, but if it's Moroccan, it's gotta be yummy! :-)

Uhm what is it? Neither I, a world unfamous chef, nor Google have heard of 'bread afarno'?

Okay, I'm catching on, it seems kind of like the Indian bread Naan? If so, I can believe its yummy! If you can find a recipe anywhere online maybe you can add a link.

That sounds like the Persian Sangak... which means tiny stones... bcz its baked on tiny stones in one of those old fashioned ovens...

The flat ones on the right... http://www.flickr.com/photos/hamed/57979897/

ANYWAYS... if its like sangak... I'm in love with this bread :D
