Does that mean the rest of us are out-of-sane?

Dan:

I am not now, nor have I ever been drunk. I don't do alcohol . . .

Been high a few times off of some meds the ER gave me . . .

Never drunk. Never will be either.

.............
No offense.

I think insane and out-of-sane mean the same thing. Either way, it means you're not sane. But, yeah, insane doesn't really make sense. It sounds like it means you're in your sane mind, not out of your mind.

I have qasked the same question....quite generally to people furrowing their brows and telling me that i think too much! To me insanity is to be INSIDE of your 'sane-ness'~ outsane is far more appropriate to show the medical darlings, doctors the butchers of the world that we are hip to the fact that they are TRYING to pour their faux 'fixes' in the way of anti-depressants...face it, those things DO make one insane...and the power of suggestion is REAL!!!! They get yachts and Kickbacks for prescribing us to a fair shade of trust and innocence to being stark raving lunatics.....it is THE who are outsane...i rest my case...but only for now.
Great Question!!!!

well i think out of sane and insane are interchangeable, but insane would be grammatically correct. the prefix "in" means "without". like the word infertile means without fertility. the word sane means to have sanity, so to be without sanity is to be insane.
