The law of conservation of mass/matter, also known as law of mass/matter conservation states that matter cannot be created nor destroyed, although it may change form. How did Matter exist in the first place if not from a Creator?

The law of conservation of matter applies only to chemically changing systems, e.g. chemistry, and does not apply to nuclear or high-energy interactions.

Conservation of matter holds true barring mass annihilation/creation. In the first instances of the big bang, matter did not exist, only energy. Energy intertwined with itself, and as the fundamental forces of the unverse separated from eachother, energy formed mass, via Einstein's famous E=m*c^2 equation. Shortly after, when the first protons were formed, is the farthest back in time we can see, and is visible in the form of the CMBR, or "cosmic microwave background radiation", which is extremely redshifted gamma radiation emitted from the heat of the first matter in the universe.

This explanation leads then to "where did the initial energy come from?" Which can only be answered by less mainstream theories such as M-theory.

This inevitably leads back to some initial creation, but any creationist theory is just as invalid, in that it also fails to answer "where did the creator come from?" To me, this suggests that our understanding of the nature of time itself is flawed.

Maybe these laws were not in effect during the inflation of the current universe, maybe matter was created from energy.
Or maybe, matter is a particular manifestation of energy. Or maybe it was always there...

God spoke it into existence....

" By the Word of the Lord were the heavens created, and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth.... For HE SPAKE AND IT WAS DONE; HE COMMANDED AND IT STOOD FAST". (psalm 33:6-9)
