if you can help me more is it the same as antilog!

inverse of base 10 log, which is what the shift key gives you, is 10^x.

inverse of natural log is e^x.

yes, in the old days, BC (Before Calculators), we'd look it up as an antilog. throughout high school, being a math stud, I carried 5-place log tables as well as a slide rule.

think you need to understand the defination of Logarithm =)

log (base b) to a number (x) = power (y)
i.e. x = b^y

anti log is the process of converting the result to x =b^y (in calculator it is unsually a base 10 or the natural log)
