gotten an explanation what the violation was for?
Beside "violation of community guide lines"?
Which one? is what I always want to know.

Nope, I've only ever been referred to the community guidelines. I think they do that because they don't know either! D@mn fools! I wish they'd give me a straight answer!

Yeah, I know what you mean. The thing that really bothers me (and it sounds like this is the same with yours) is when they don't even tell you which rule you've violated. I haven't gotten many, but there was one time where I swear I couldn't figure it out. I wrote them to see what I did wrong and got a response that just had some non specific form letter language basically saying "read the community guidelines" (which I had already done before I wrote the first e-mail to see if I could figure it out) without telling me anything. I have gotten five..... five..... yes five violations today and I'm so sad. None of them telling me what I did. All just saying they went against guidelines. I keep writing and asking.... I just get the standard form letter back. *sigh*
I feel I put in so much time on here..... it would be so nice if someone from yahoo answers team would please please write me back a real letter explaining to me how I could have existed on this site for well over a year and a half with very few violations and then I get four last week and then 5 today?? What am I doing this week that is so vastly different from what I've always done? Or is it that someone has just decided to make it their mission to get rid of me? I seriously am so sad and frustrated and would love some answers. *sigh*

I've had 4. Including one for a "violation" for a question I posted and had answered 3 MONTHS ago! LOL

Their policy is not to tell. I wrote back and told them the policy is rediculous because if we don't know what we are doing wrong, how can we prevent doing it again?

haha!!no!!i got a VN today!!sent them an e-mail!i always send them an e-mail!!and I have NEVER got a reply!!
so they just hand out violations to anybody without checking who or why reported!!

i got one this morning on a resolved question... no explaination. i wrote a letter but i'm not holding my breath for a proper response.
