my husband has just told me that they are bringing back Cindy Beale is this true, surely she died in prison giving birth.

I did read something about that myself, although I don't know how they will get round it, maybe it could turn out that when Cindy gave birth, she some how managed to escape, and rather than the prison admit she had escaped, they said she had died! I know its far fetched, but look what happened to Dirty Den, he came back from the dead didn't he?

Edit - someone has just answered that it is the daughter Cindy gave birth to in prison that comes back and pretends to be Cindy, I can't see that, she can only be about 10 years old at the most!

I have just asked the question of..Who is going to shoot Jane Beale. I heard that it was going to happen on my local radio station. My replies from Yahoo were, Cindy might be back from the dead and she maybe responsible. They are introducing a new actress to play the part of Cindy. Seemingly she was meant to be part of a protection witness racket or something like that.
How disturbed or should i say more disturbed will the Beale kids be. Lucy is bad enought without all this crap messing up her hollow head

She died in prison from complications after childbirth. It is the intention to revive the role of the child Cindy gave birth to, who is also called Cindy after her mother. Cindy Williams(the daughter) will begin a hate campaign against Ian and Lucy, plaging them with eerie emails, which make them believe its from Cindy's ghost, when it is in fact from the little girl. The girl has been staying with her maternal grandmother and aunt in Devon, and should be arrinving on our screens in the late autumn. As of yet, nobody has been cast for this role.

She did die in prision giving birth to a child which her sister adopted, but there again so did Dirty Den Watts die on the tow path but he came back . East enders is very complecated and every one related ro everyone else some how or another, I have not heard about cindy coming back but I would not be surprised at any thing that happens in Walford.

She did die, but so did dirty den.. lol.. i dont believe she is coming back, but her son (she died giving birth to this child)
gets hold of ians number and starts txting him pretending to be Cindy..to creep him out, BUT ive heard Jane gets shot & because of the txt messages from 'cindy' cindy is no1 suspect..

Apparently Lucy Beale has got in with a bad 'un and he offers to shoot Ian for her cos he's making her life a misery.
I think the newspapers were mentioning Lucy doing a "Cindy Beale" because Cindy hired someone to shoot Ian years ago.
That man just has THE worse luck eh?! Lol.

I heard this is true, apparently she didnt die in prison, thats what everyone was told but she was actually given a new identity on release...or something like that. I think the motto is in eastenders, if you dont actually see them die - dont believe it, they can pop up again anytime the ratings are starting to drop. Could be a good character to spice things up again though.

Lucy is meant to find out that she died in prison and she takes it a bit bad , so its her who plays the tricks on Ian , also Jayne gets shot .

apparently she died during child birth,but comes back from the dead,like dirty den, ian walks in his house and smells cindys perfume,and on the mirror it is wriiten in lipstick "i'm back".which lucy see's i think eastenders have run out of storylines. it is apparently true,i read it in a soap magazine.
