BRITAIN is facing a mass exodus of people looking to escape the crime and grime of modern living. The country's biggest foreign visa consultancy firm has revealed that applications have soared in the last seven months by 80 percent.

And many cite their reason for wanting to quit as immigration to these shores – and the burden it is placing on their communities and local authorities. The dearth of good schools, spiralling house prices, rising crime and tax increases are also driving people away. "Ironically, one of the main reasons for leaving is the overstretch of services due to increasing immigration into the UK. People are looking for the better standard of living offered by other countries, as even the most idyllic villages in Britain are under pressure from rising populations.

yes sad to say hun look at what the bs is going on in the UK and IF the USA does not stop the spiral now maybe in about 20+ years it would have reached the same point.

You see they are going to keep coming to the UK as we DO give them free medical, free housing, free everything OFTEN at the detrement of our own people........when it is a points system for housing lets say and you have waited for ages, name on the list, bided your turn got to the top you WILL be put back down cos some immigrant with more kids than you is more in need............so the resentment sets in as the next time you get to the list could be months even years away.

The big difference in the UK and the USA is that the USA is still allowed a huge amount of pride in their country and their ways of life.......did you know I am NOT allowed to fly my own flag of my OWN country cos some paki MIGHT be offended yet I can fly it here in the USA freely, so long as IF I have a USA one at the same time your flag goes at the top, but I can STILL fly it..........

regards and hope that my parents will also join me here in the USA soon, they want to build a mosque in their little tiny town and all the muslims [that DO NOT LIVE there] are up in arms saying we are being hateful............yeah right we knock down a 150 year old building so they can be happy.......sad thing is they will more than likely GET THEIR WAY......

I think you have hit the nail on the head, the growth of radical Islamic cells in the UK that are out in the light of day I think makes a lot of Brits nervous thus I think they are looking at leaving. Just not sure how this would impact in the US since where would we go. The rest of the world is more into the politically correct thing and acceptance of allowing radical Islam to take over than we are so by the time it gets to bad here it will be over the edge in many other countries.

I firmly have faith that that! has been the ecu/ British parliament plan all alongside. they're striving to make Britain the Islamic banking centre of Europe, and the British particularly everyone isn't area of the plan. it particularly is the 1st time in British history that an entire parliament has sat in dedication to the destruction of its very own united states. and the folk in basic terms wont combat returned.....I have not have been given any thought why? Even after seeing the main 3 political events lib, labs and cons all coverage fixing between them to stress us into the ecu, they stupid public will nevertheless vote for the very persons that are destroying their youngster's destiny.....you will be able to desire to no longer make those issues up, could desire to you.

The UK has become so liberal that those people probably fear for their safety. England, like many other European countries, has been over run with radical Muslims, some of which like to hurt people. That will eventually happen here in The US if we don't open our collective eyes to that danger and elect some one to the White House in '08 who will keep that touch of freedom burning. That my friend is not a liberal.

I think the difference between the US and Britain is that our economy was built on cheap immigrant labor. (Like how the chinese have 1.4 TRILLION dollars lying around to invest with their economy booming because of cheap labor) We will never be able to stop immigration.

However, I think the US could use the immigration process to its advantage. Since this country is built on immigration, we could give tax breaks to small businesses to hire people. (As opposed to large corporations)
