Ask him for money for "girl things". I guarentee he won't ask any questions and will just give you some money and then forget about it.
I asked my dad and now I'll even drag him into Victoria's Secret with me to pay for my bras.
If you don't want to ask for "girl things", go up to him and say, "Hey dad, I'm going shopping with my friends and I need some money." That way he won't even know what your getting.

"Dad, I don't want to embarrass you, but I really need to get some new bras."
Simple and straight forward. After all, chances are he has seen a bra or two in his life, and understands that a woman needs to wear them. With your mom not around this is just one more thing your dad has to deal with. Maybe before you ask, do a little quick homework either online, or in the ads in the Sunday paper. That way you can give him some idea of how much you may need to spend, and what you plan on buying.
Your dad does not have to actually go into the store with you, you can ask the clerk for assistance. They can help you select the right style and size bras so you look your best.
Remember to thank your dad too. Once you break the ice, the next time will be easier.

Oh, kiddo. I can see how this is hard for you. I wish I had some good advice, but really the only thing you can do is just sit down with your dad, and explain to him that you're getting older and you're starting to need 'things' that all girls need at a certain point. I'm sure he'll get what you're saying right away. Or do you have any female relatives that you can talk to? My littlest sister went through the same thing as you, and I know it was tough for her! If it makes you feel any better, I'm sure he's just as nervous as you are when it comes to talking about this! Good luck!

Write your Daddy a note and leave it next to his change on his dresser. The note should say, Dear Daddy, As I'm getting bigger, you've been really cool about providing for all the things I need. I'm needing some money for girl stuff that's seriously embarrassing for me to discuss with a man. Not the period stuff, it's clothing. I'll be needing about $40 to get two or three good ones, so I won't be stinking because I need to wash it. If you want to have gramma or one of my aunts take me, that's cool too. I'm wearing one I was given by a friend who felt sorry for me, because I was too chicken to ask for one of my own. Please don't try to make a big deal out of this. It's embarrassing enough to have to write this note. You've been cool so far, Daddy. Keep up the good work.
Love,
_________
Then sign your name on the end.
It worked for me.

Ask if your dad if you could go "Girl Shopping" with your friends. you should tell him your in the need of a new bra, but you want to get with your friends, so its less embarrassing. Or if you are at the store tell your dad you need to go in the girl's section and do some private shopping. He'll get the point and respect that. I hope it all goes well! oh and make sure you get cute ones lol!

thats tough umm see if he'll drop you off at the mall or the store so you can go by yourself if its your first bra u should usually try a 32a as the size but try different ones to get the right fit. if you have questions ask the salesperson or a friends mom or your friends or your aunt it is embarrasing but im sure your dad knows

I don't think you should be so afraid! Dont worry he should totally understand, all girls need them and he knows thats. If you need to go buy some just ask your dad if you could have some money to go bra shopping with your friends. Its not like you have to go buy them with your dad. lol
good luck

I know it's embarassing, but honestly, you just have to grit your teeth and do it. Say "Daddy, I'm growing and I need a bra." He'll be pretty scared and kinda reluctant because, you know, you're his little girl, and now that you have boobs, you might get attention from *gasp* boys! But tell him it's important, and that he doesn't even need to come, but you need to get this sort of "rite of passage" before all sorts of problems with your boobs start...

You see you dont have to ask your daddy,
You can ask an aunt that you can trust or an older cousin
They're girls so they will understand & they went through that "asking about the bra phase" thing before.
Take Care.
