Taurus/Cancer problem?

I'm a young taurus male who fell for a cancer girl. I never was into astrology or took this stuff seriously until I decided to read about our signs for fun and interest and realized it's pretty accurate. Shes ultra protective but then you realize how ultra sensitive she is. Anyway, I think my bluntness and jealously and all that put alot of pressure on her and we both retreated and are sulking although were both playing it off (atleast I am...) and im wondering if were ever gonna talk again. We were doing great but now were just distant and she wont talk to me. I cant tell if I hurt her or what? I dont know what I did wrong except put some pressure on her and want to openly talk after some friends told me she was flirting with my cousin which im not even sure of. How the hell do you get a cancer of her shell? What should I do? I decided to back off and give her space but now im kinda losing hope and I dont want to lose her. Professional advice appreciated.

I don't take it too seriously but its interesting how it nails a few things. As a taurus, it describes me pretty well. Stubborn and yadda. And as a cancer, same deal for her and 2 other cancer girls I know. So...kinda interesting. Anyway point is - she wont talk to me, if I try to talk it pushes her more away which is what happened. I cant tell if the mistrusting her is what hurt her or if she got caught. I dont know but I atleast want to stay in touch and remain friends. I just have no idea whats going on with her.

The problem is, it already feels like its on the borderline of alienation and I dont want to make the wrong move...

One of cancer's abilities is to dwell on memories and past events. I have done what she is doing many of times. The only thing that I can tell you is she will come out of her shell when she is good and ready. Give her some space, but show her that you still love and care for her. I cant explain why we do this, and its something that just happens, there is no thought process there. It's just in our sign. However, I think that it's away of protecting our feelings, that you probably hurt. Let her know that you don't think this really happened and that you would like to discuss it so you can put a stop to who ever is saying it. Let her know that you have her back no matter what. And Taurus's have a tendency to think there right and once they make up there mind there is no changing it. Let me tell you that will not go over well with a cancer and we will remember that until the day you die. Back off and open yourself up for a different insight, try seeing things from her point of view.
