They had seen their younger siblings do it on their mother, and they had seen young animals do it on their mothers, so they used logic and tried it out. Voila! a new food source from domestic animals!

I do not think anyone ever pulls a cows udder. They pull the teats of the cow(I mean squeeze and pull) I think they learnt it from the calf

Probably curious about what would happen. That person had seen young suckling on their mother. So, why not. After all it produces something edible.
I really doubt anything sexual was going through that persons mind. Hunger has a way of directing priorities.
