Nope. That said, I have "lost" on purpose when I am bored. My 12-year-old neighbor and I (56) have gotten on a Monopoly kick. He went home and told his mother I kicked his butt. She replied, "Did you forget that she's a Realtor?" LOL He's a quick learner and is doing quite well now. I think if I had let him win, he wouldn't have decided to learn the game with such passion!

Yes. It is the decent thing to do at times. I played racquetball for many years. I had people who I competed with on a regular basis. I would let them win sometimes to boost their confidence. They became better players from the added confidence and self-esteem.

yes, i let my self lost on games for the little kids for them to enjoy the game but sometimes i have to win so that they will not notice that I'm doing it purposely.

Yes. If they're little kids or really intense players I do. It's good for a kids confidence Serious players seem to sulk if they loose.

I have two kids,seven and nine. i almost always let them win. The oldest is only just beginning to suspect I'm doing that on purpose.
