To figure out the exact RPM (revolution per mile) the new larger tire of your choice rolls per mile go to: tirerack.com.

Pick any tire of the new size and you'll find the abbreviation: spec. under the tire. Open the spec. page to find the difference in revolutions per mile the standard tire rolls against the new size. Any revolutions under 15 (larger circumference tires roll less rpm) will begin to lower speedometer readings.

Theoretically you could go faster with larger circumference tires but many things happen along the way. In each of your gears the engine RPM's will be less. It will take more horsepower and torque to go any faster. The lower gearing will make your truck come out of the hole slower. To get back power and torque you'll need lower rear end gears.
Every change has trade-offs. You'll need to plan carefully when selecting lower profile wider tires or tires with larger circumference.

No, if you get a tire with a bigger radius it will seem that way... to fix that you would need to change the tire settings on your vehicles ECU if it has such a feature...

No but you will burn more gas and more brakes.Due to the increased rotational weight of the larger wheel. It takes more gas to get them rolling and more brake to slow them down. And yeah they gona throw your speedo off too.

But...They DO look cool

No, your speedometer will be off and your gas milage will go down but unless your driving wide open throttle it won't decrease your travel time
