I listen to the sermon. But I work with the church music, and once in a while, I'll get called in to work with an earlier service than the one I usually attend. If I'm sleepy at all, I have to concentrate a little bit harder to pay attention.

I listen to the sermon. If I just wanted to watch surrounding objects what would be the purpose of attending? Sitting in church just for show, shows nothing. It doesn't matter what everyone else is there for, it's what you are there for and hopefully it will be to give God the glory, and grow in your faith.

Our pastor rocks and he's gives great sermons so I'm always paying attention. Our church isn't that crowded so there's not much distraction. The only time I get sidetracked is when my friend brings candy or cookies lol.

Usually have a good old look round at other people and make up little stories about them to myself.

In my church, the homily is the most important part! (During the rest of the Mass and Communion, I have been known to check everyone and everything out. LOL)

I listen. Then I think how much my anus hurts. Then I instantly look at the baby crying and listen to her. Then I get paranoid, the whole world seems weary. I look back quickly to see if the guy behind me is paying attention...*gasp* he's not! What has this world gone through?? I look quickly to my left and the lady is writing in her bible and I pray that she is writing a passage. *GASP* I'm going insane, I can't believe she's writing doodles! WHY!? WHY HAS OUR WORLD GONE CRAZY?!
