height is not an issue because there are many types of modeling, and also, how old are you? u can do teen modeling. u need to start by putting a portfolio together and going to auditions, you may also want to contact an modeling agency or school, be careful of scams!. agencies will most likely ask for you to get presentation cards (those are the ones you leave behind to companies etc.)
good luck, but i dont recomend modeling unless you are willing to spend looots of money portfolios cost from$800-$5000 and the cards from $8 a piece and you usually have to make an order of at least 100

Set up photo shoots with a photographer in your local area and make a portfolio and send it to a modeling agency. That's how I did it and now I belong to Jet Set Modeling Agency.

How old are you, if you're under 13 you could be a child model. Usually to be a print model you need to be atleast 5'6, and for runway 5'9. Sadly thats the way the modeling world is, it's messed up. I look like a model but I'm only 5'7, and I'd love to do runway.

You're not too short to do commercial modeling, but you probably won't be able to do runway. I would do some modeling classes, get some professional (as well as not professional) photos taken, and find a solid agency that won't scam you!

I don't know if you are too short cause I don't know your age! If you are still growing and you are younger than 15 than you should go into it. But I must say, it's not easy to get into modeling. Don't fall for the scams!

For starters you should take some classes at your local modeling school. They will teach you a lot and tell you what you need to do to get started!
Good Luck!

I think it really doesn't matter how tall or short you are. I think that as long as you like what YOU want to do, then you should just go for modeling and i wish you the best of luck (:

Most models are taller, but thats OK.
First:You should take some modeling classes.
Second:Spend time thinking about what kind of model you want to be(model, photo model, commercial model...)
Third:Send your picture or visit these websites and places...
