There are SO many good commercials on tv these days. Two of my favourites are:
- the Sidney Crosby Gatorade commercial when they show what's going on inside his brain....
- the Molson Canadian commercial when they talk about illegal curves in hockey sticks and that dude has a stick in his hand and uses the stick to get a beer out of the fridge for his buddy.

Way back in the day, Bobby Hull of the Chicago Blackhawks did a Milk Duds TV commercial...he may have been one of the first NHL players to have a major sponsorship deal for a product.

No doubt the Nike Goalie commercials. And last years all-star commercial was funny. The Crosby RBK hockey ones were pretty cool too.

Way back, a McDonald's commercial with Mats Sundin and Wayne Gretzky playing a hockey version of horse.
There was a commercial last year for a sporting goods store where a granpa was helping his grandson get some hockey gear and was telling him about his glory days when he hears the voice of another oldtimer he recognizes as his boyhood nemesis and then he takes out his teeth and says 'It's go time.'
The old Canadian Tire commercial that featured a kid no one wanted on their team named Albert who grew up and became a big time NHLer. Long suffering Leaf fans back then started wearing bags with the slogan 'We Want Albert' on them.
In Canada there are tons of them.

Back in the 70s there was a commercial that aired in all of Canada except Quebec and BC for Swanson 'Hungry Man' dinners

It featured Brian Glennie and Lanny McDonald. During the first taping, Brian Glennie accidentally ripped the freezer door off, and they left it in the final commercial.

Note: Brian Glennie was a Leaf 'tough guy' who ended his career in LA. Solid defenceman who at '197lbs' was considered big in the 1970s NHL.

I grew up in Winnipeg, and in the 80's there was a commercial featuring a local reporter. He was on the ice blathering on about something and behind you see Jim Kyte skating around in circles. Then Kyte starts taking a run at the reporter and just absolutely CREAMS him into the boards. HILARIOUS !!

Oh and there's another funny when where it shows some players taking off their gear. They take off their hockey socks and you see their hairy legs. Then the camera pans out and you see that it's women. And then one of them looks at the camera and says "What? Nobody shaves in the playoffs !! "

I think the Bud Light dome hockey commercials were the best

How about the Nike commercial featuring Sergei Fedorov where he has to beat a player from just about every team, then comes in on 5 goaltenders, shoots, collects the rebound and circles the net to knock the water bottles off the net.

The one Fox used to do of goalies stuck in bad jobs because they were sieves. One had a goalie as a janitor and I forgot the others. Pretty funny.

Le Golie is good too for the inflatable goalie thingy you can use with a net in roller/road hockey.
