If I had to be either one I would rather be deaf.
It would be hard but at least I could see where I'm
walking, see my food and other important things in life .

You know the saying- Monkey See, Monkey Do.
How Would I Do If I Couldn't See ???

Good question babe!!! Here's the thing, I'd rather be Blind 'cause I would like to notice the heart and the soul of anything that exists in this world more so then the physical part of it. I think the beauty come from with in. People tend to get lost into the physical parts of thing with out knowing the soul.
I'm also thinking that I would rather be deaf 'cause the world is really beautiful if you really take a good look. Seeing sometimes is believing. If I can't see the sunset, or see that flower blossom, or even, once I have kids and not to see my kid for that first time as he/she being delivered. If I can't see beauty like that, that will kill me. Deaf, I'm thinking that I rather be deaf.

I would prefer to be deaf. There is so much in the world that I know I would be missing out on if I were to choose sight over hearing. Although music is the soundtrack of our life, I know I will miss my soundtrack dearly.

We all dream with images--even a born blind person. I know this because I had the privlidge of having the greatest college professor for my English class: she manages to do everything in life blind. I noticed that she has an uncanny memory for people's voices. I ran into her a few years after the college days, and she noticed me by voice.

From that class, I learned to appreciate all that we take for granted.

Thank you for your insightful question.

That is hard but I think I would take being blind over deaf. Reason being is so I can hear all the wonderful mispronunciations my daughter says and to hear the words I love you from her. There is nothing better than that.

Deaf......there are so many beautiful things to see. And besides you can communicate online w/o hearing and you can watch TV w/o hearing.

With all the medical advances. I'm sure they have something that can help the deaf hear. If not I'm sure they will soon.
