Those Utah miners have to be dead by now...and if not, they probably will be by the time the rescuers get there, now they're talking about drilling another hole and such which may take three weeks :(.

What's the deal?

It's sad to say, but I don't think that they are alive and I think that the mine owner, Bob Murray, should stop trying to make his butt look good and giving their families and the people following the story false hopes. I think he's honestly in denial. The cameras aren't showing anything, and the oxygen levels are really low in the cavities that they keep testing. They say "it's possible" but it's been over a week. As sad as it is to say it, I don't think that they are. They should just focus on trying to find the bodies of the men so their families can have a proper burial. And instead of focusing on whether or not they're alive, but focusing on the life and achievements of these men.

I just saw on the news that twelve rescuers asked to be re-assigned because it was too dangerous to continue with the rescue.......this is a god awful shame! People should never be asked to work in a place where others could not get to them within a reasonable amount of time in case of an emergency. Ridiculous and Sad for everyone involved.....

They had 2,000 feet to go to reach the six trapped miners.
After one week they are less than half way due to the need to build
supports for the Rescuers.
You are correct - things look very bad.

Trying to walk on ground that just might collapse even more isn't easy. I agree with you about the miners they have yet to find.
