I have to use a horrible mattress for the next year and am looking for a really thick, comfortable mattress pad to make the bed more bearable. Where can I find something like that?

I would check with a store that specializes in selling mattresses. If they don't have them they may be able to order you a good one.

I'm a mattress salesman in Florida, if you have any stores like bed bath and beyondonr Linens and things. Those will definately have what your looking for. You probably want at least a 4" thick pad, i would spend a couple extra dollars and get the memory foam!

Yea, go to Wal-Mart and get a 4 inch memory foam mattress pad. I just got one a couple of months ago and I love it. I haven't had a bad back night since. However, they do smell bad for the first week or so, but it goes away.
Try it, it's worth the money.
