They say the most music genre listened to by teenagers is country then CHRISTIAN {what i listen to} then rock and then rap...but y do i always here teenagers singin to rap and when i look on their mp3's and iPods they have a bunch of rap...maybe if more ppl listen to CHRISTIAN music and get the message from Christ, then we wouldn't have promblems with sex be4 marriage and drug abuse and mess like tht.............

People can listen to whatever they want. There is no such music that teaches people to be bad and to learn about adult content especially Rap. I kinda agree with you about Christian songs, since I am catholic, it does spread the word from Christ and so on, but I not in to that type of music. Rap in my opinion is the poetry from the streets, where several artists describe their struggles in life, or just create a catchy song to get people to listen to it. Maybe the people you see or hear have some sort of talent of rapping, may like the music, or act ignorant trying to be "G's" and so forth. Rap is cool, and been here for a very long time.

Um Okay,People are in titled to like what they like they like Rap and you like Christian music,I like Rap,and I'm Christian.There is a such thing as Christian Rap,and Rap Isn't the cause of premarital sex,drugs,or abuse. It's not going to solve all of the problems in our society today getting down on your hands and knee's praying will though. Alot of teens really don't pay attention to Christian Music,because they think it's
boring or "Un-hip". So that's why their trying to make more Christian Rap.I also think that is kind of ignorant of you to sit up and down rap,because some rap is very empowering and has very powerful messages.Not all rap has cussing or stuff like that in it.Christian Music is OK. I'm a teenager myself,and I hate it when overly religious people think that all music that Isn't Christian Music is somehow bad,Or wrong.When It's not.Do you realize how many raps songs have meanings and messages behind them,huh? because rap is cool. and if you can't see that then you are not.
even if more people that listen to rap and rock or country started listen to CHRISTIAN the whatever message you want them to get they will not get. because they don't like that kind of music. and lust in case you are a smart*** just because i hate the kind of music you listen to doesn't mean i don't believe in god. and there is nothing wrong with have sex before marriage. you don't have to be or get marryed to have a babe. if they started to do drugs they most likely will not stop because you listen to CHRISTIAN. okay.

Yea, that Christian music has really helped the church - pedophilia, adultery, financial scams, Conservative Christian backing Bush on the War in Iraq, Christians believing 9-11 (and Hurricane Katrina) was God striking the US for it's sins.... Great Job that music has done.

ok im 15 and it would be NOT AT ALL POSSIBLE to make every kid listen to what the church listens to or w.e. its a free country, people can listen to what ever music they damn well please. i live in a suburb of boston and i can only count one person that i no that has christian music on there ipod (and they only have 1)! and rap is whats on the radio. is there a such thing as a christian music station? yea thats what i thought. so why dont you get off the computer (isnt that againts your religion too) and go watch christian tv while reading the bible.

So,W/E...music is not the reason for that..
People who listen to otha genre's.. & All this otha stuff have drug problem's..and have sex before marriage..
Elvis Presly had a drug addiction and went to rehab, he wun no rap artist..so shut that **** up..

alright now. the music people listen too doesn't have a DAMN thing to do with the way they act. some people listen to christian and go around acting like street thugs and whores and straight up damn fools. some people listen to rap and they are law-abiding, smart, normal people. i think it has something to do with the way they were raised. if the parents don't do they job, they kids are going to be unruly.

Well alot of kids do it to fit in. they listen to it at first just to fit in then they almost get addicted to it. do not follow the crowd if it is not you. do not lower your morals. you are bright about the abstidence thing but people just dont care. you also cant force christ on anybody. They have to be willing. I know that it sucks but one day every knee will bow.
