Sometimes people out of no where get a revelation. Seems to me your a lucky one marriage is hard and everyone wants to quit because it's easy. You know what i say to you and all that anwsered how their marriages were horrible "there's hope" sometimes we just have to fight back for ourselves and our kids just refuse to be unhappy you can build a happy marriage even 28 years later check out loveandrespect.com order the books or cd's cracking the communication code is good too.

I have been married nearly 25 years and I feel it's all been a waste of my time. I wish I had made this decision before I had three kids and when I was young. If anyone says they are still madly in love after 20 or so years, I don't believe them. I'm not saying they're lying...I'm just saying I don't think it's possible.

I am still madly in love with my husband. When I look at some of our friends, only one of them is in a meaningful relationship and the rest of them aren't. Then they divorce over the most stupid reason. I take my marriage seriously and I always say that I didn't get married to get a divorce.

You are a tolerant woman for sticking around.
That is a long time to be treated badly by someone.
I don't know what to tell you as I have not been with someone for more th an 5 years, but I don't think after 28 years he should just be coming to this conclusion about you.

Madly in love? Probably not....but I do have the utmost respect for him, and I do love him very much. We have been together for 15 years, married for 13. I trust him, and we have alot of fun together. We have a wonderful marriage - not without problems mind you...but we are happy together.

11 years here and No! Goin through the motions because of kids and unfortunately money! (a divorce would devastate everyone involved) I'm forever trapped here. What a life, huh! At least all the happy ones in here have something to look forward too,....

CindyLou, I've been married for 23 years and unfortunately I'm not in love with my husband anymore. He cheated on me for a married woman and when I discovered his secret affairs, he then told me that it is me that he wants, after he told me that he loves this married woman, he found that they have a lot of things in common, and he can see a future for both of them. So because of this I disconnect myself from him and I can't and will not waste anymore of my time and my life with him if he can so easily fell for a another woman....don't feel sad for me because this is the best thing that I've done....

I've been married for 12 years and still struggling to gain respect from my spouse !! I've thrown in the towel once, but caved in to his pleas and begging for forgiveness.... I didn't forgive him, but gave a yr trial to make it break it.. so far he's cracking... I wish he would come to the realization that I'm the one for him or let go of me !!
