Although Georgia and Texas have or did have
a law that said Women were chattel in business
[really!]...

the federal laws and state laws are rather consistent here.

whether private or public firms, all stock holders
have certain "inalienable rights" and those
include access to the financial records of the company. IF unethical, immoral or
illegal activities are being conducted,
an injuction is fairly easy to get to stop
that action.

Then there is the law called fiduciary.

IN that law, [very well known in real estate law]
all partners-owners --must conduct
business in such a way as to not harm the
company [and thus, the other partners].

IF you can show that your partners have created other firms that compete with yours
NOW, and they are current partners,
you have grounds for an injuction to stop them
and another hearing for them to show cause why they should not be stopped entirely.

this is the best question I have read in 4 yrs!
