Heavens yes, and I should know.
People either want to screw you or screw you. They think you have no heart or inner needs. If you're shy, they automatically think you're snobby. If you're very social, you often have to juggle time with many different people and it gets complicated. People get offended easily.
Also, your friends get jealous and don't want to go out with you because they'll pale in comparison; you'll get the attention and they won't .
And, finally, no one pities the beautiful, since they think we (haha) have everything they need.

I enjoy spending an hour getting ready everyday and looking great and well polished. However, the curse is I can't even go pump gas or fill out a job application (no lie) without some jack*ss coming up to me and hitting on me. I hate that they just stand around and stare at me like they have never seen a girl with makeup on or a girl who cares about themselves enough to invest time on inner and outer beauty. It has been going on for the last 15 years and I wish the men who do this would get a life.

Beauty is meant to be a deeper thing. If you have a good character & a strong personality, I doubt it'd be a curse. If, however, you mean in terms of being pretty outside, well yeah.
For one thing, you get judged for your looks.
If you're in HS you never really get great friends.
You get creepy guys hitting you up & not one hot person.
You can't make a lot of friends [people either fall for you, or judge you, or use you, or don't even want to be friends to start with, or tell you 'oh I expected you to be different']
You can't do or say a lot of things without being watched.
So yeah. Bottom line, you get judged. A LOT. & at times for the wrong things.

It can be and it cant if you use it the right way. If you use you looks to get what you want, you are using it the wrong way and may loose a friend or two. Some 'beautiful' people arent really all that beautiful because of their attitude and/or personality. Yet some are popular because of their looks. Like I said, it all depends on how you use it.

Ok. here is a story that happened in Russia. A girl won in a modeling contest and became a rather famous so one man who is kind of a rich and powerful gangster wanted her to be his girlfriend because he will be able to boast that his girlfriend is the best. She refused and his people put acid on her face. She became not only not so beautiful but half-blind... becoming a toy of risking to be killed or becoming blind... not a nice choice.
Real beauty is for strong and cunning girls, very cunning.
Don't be afraid, bad stories happen not to all good-looking girls.

no i dont think beauty is a curse because based on suveys etc. like people who are better looking get more noticed and people think they would be more friendly.Because at the end of the day YES people do judge each other on looks

yes....i don't have a lot of girl friends anymore b/c they all are married or have a serious bf who they hope to marry so i'm not invited out much anymore. Eventhough I have a bf and I would NEVER sleep with my friends husbands or boyfriends they still are attracted to me. To the point where when they get drunk they are quite obvious about it..i don't encourage..but u know how guys are when they are drunk. Needless to say..my girlfriends get jealous. Also, I've heard that my best friends husband has been pressuring her for the past 3 years to get us to do a 3-some. I feel sorry for her really that her husbands is such a douche. I mean it was bad enough when i got all the attention when we went out to bars/clubs when we were single...now their husbands are fawning over me also. I mean come on...i wouldn't be friends with me either. What gets me in trouble i think is if i wasn't so damed loyal, with moral and values..then i could become the "whorre" or the group and then they would have something to secretly hate me for. but b./c i'm one of those nice pretty girls ( i was chunky in HS) it makes it even worst. ya know.
so then i hang out with dudes more often. but the only reason why they hang out with me it in the hopes of getting laid....and god help those poor unexpecting boys who don't get the sex from me, but stick around long enough in desperation to actual see me as a kind, loving human being that is not only attractive but smart also! now these boys fall in love and put me on a pedastal. *sigh* what's a girl to do...most of the guys that i'm friends with are dudes I would NEVER marry or even date...hence why they are friends.

yes beauty cna be a curse..if... i say if.. one is very pretty and knows it.. thinks shes the gods gift of women and condem others for not being as cute.. when she thinks everyone should fall at her feet and kiss her bunz... when shes so vain others cant stand being around her... this is a cursed beauty!!
