We all have seen it happened in movies, where someone yells and all of a sudden a avalance happens. Is that possible or is it movie magic?

Some ski resorts have large guns that they fire and the shock wave from the gun will cause avalances so they happen before the skiers get there. So I think you need a much more powerful sound than a person yelling.

Yes you can cause a avalance from yelling. Sound is a vibration and when it echoes of the mountains the vibrations intensifies. Which can cause the snow / ice to break and cause a avalance.

You've been watching too many Simpsons Movies.

In theory the sound energy transferred to snow that is on the edge of tipping could set off an avalanche. In practise I think you'd be yelling for a long time.

No, it is just in the movies. Myth Busters tried to start an avalanch with a yodeler and couldn't do it. They finally got an avalanch going, but it took explosives to do it.

Technically, yes. Usually a louder noise is required.
