does spicy food help move the baby into position or does it help induce labor?

I've heard it does but hasn't worked for me yet. I think your body has to be ready for any of the "old wives tales" to work. I think that the best ways, though, that aren't just old wives tales is walking and keeping as active as you can. Just be sure to listen to your body and not push it. Besides, relax now while you still can is what I say, and drink lots of water!! Good luck!

It helps to tick the baby off and induce labor but gives very bad heart burn.

the only thing it does is stimulate your bowel.
By stimulating your bowel your uterus will contract.
So in a way i guess it can help induce labor

it dose not do anything i am 18 weeks pregnant and i crave spicy foods
