If I were to travel alone I would love to go to the countryside, any country. Long walks and a cosy b and b to stay in. I think cities are lonely places when you are alone somehow. Try the lake district if in the UK.

I went to Thailand and Burma (Myanmar) on my own just before my 21st birthday. I had a fantastic time and met lotsof very interesting people along the way. It was a once in a lifetime experience which I am glad I had.
