I was watching Dr. Phil today and the show was about a grandfather who raped his granddaughter. The grandfather seemed un remorseful and blamed the devil for his actions (although he may be partially true) anyway the question is for white people.

Why do you allow family members to molest little kids like that? The girl was only 6 and now she has to grow up feeling worthless. I say white people because this is frequent in the white community. Dr. Phil is not the only one to profile child rapist, so has America's Most Wanted and all of these perpretators were white.

It seems like it's acceptable in the white community? wtf*

Because pedophilia is the new cancer. Back then, when someone had the big C, you didn't talk about it. Nowadays everyone talks about cancer, being diagnosed, in remission and even having a relapse, which usually leads to death.

Pedophilia and child molestation is very difficult to deal with, and some people would rather ignore it, hoping it will go away. Hopefully in the future, it will be less of a taboo topic because we will have more knowledge.

well this would a dead family member in my family, but to be honest I think and can only go with how things are done in my husbands family it was just swept under the carpet and although every one knows who did what to whom after them getting a beat down they are still in and around the family.

so it might not be so much acceptable but MORE open when it comes to the difference in how a black family deals with it as opposed to a white family.

regards and would care if the bast*rd was yellow green with orange stripes he would be a DEAD man...........

Blacks and browns don't "snitch" on their own. Whites do.
Now which seems more like "acceptance" to you?

Racial profiling is prejudice.
