What is the source of what you are saying... I don't like either Bush or Kerry so I am not sticking up for Kerry but this is the very first time I have ever heard this and believe me EVERY single Bush fan would be screaming this at the top of their lungs.
Besides the military rarely tested soldiers in those days and they certainly did not keep records like this... plus both of these men were in completely different branches and had different duties. Stop lying and let's just move on with whoever was the best soldier... personally, I think Kerry has him beaten on this front. I mean he did serve in combat despite of what the Swift Boaters try to claim.

He's portrayed as stupid because he's done some stupid things in office. Scoring higher than Kerry is not that big a thing to brag about. The only thing significant Kerry did was marry well.

Who cares who scored higher than Kerry or Bush for that matter? Anyone with half a brain knows that some people can take tests well, and some can't. My dyslexic husband is brilliant but sucks at tests.
It's not the media that has portrayed bush as stupid. He's done a fine job of that himself.

The media?
If you don't read a newspaper everyday you will be uninformed.
If you do read a newspaper everyday, you will be misinformed.
The liberal movement in the US and the press are on each other's payroll. They will contribute to the negative image of Bush and the country in general at every opportunity and when they don't have an opportunity they will manufacture one.
Forget about the military test. Try this on for size. Nancy Pelosi said that George Bush is irrational and too dumb to understand what the people want and that he should come to realize that she is charge of the country now.
The self appointed Chancellor of the US, Nancy Pelosi, and the liberal media, since then, have failed to mention that the guy they said was the dumbest man in the country has out maneuvered them at every turn and they are left scratching their collective heads wondering why they have the worst rating of any congress in history and did it before they got done decorating their new offices.
Bush is no genius but, who's the dummy now?

I've never seen any such article. Not one.
Listening to Bush is what makes him appear stupid, his syntax is confusing, his vocabulary is limited, he has serious trouble expressing himself. It is painful to listen to him.
In a baseball team owner it would be no big deal. As the leader of the free world, an inability to move others as, say, Kennedy did, or Clinton did, is surprising.
Its not the media, not this time, its just Bush being Bush.
Compounded of course by the fact that his policies have been unpopular by the great majority of Americans. And his incompetency in dealing with Katrina and other large and small issues. Hillary is probably the one with the highest GPA, but I doubt that would make you vote for her.

I've heard this debate before. In the real world, your college grades and test scores count less than how you perform at real world tasks. By that measure, GWB is a failure. His business experience consists of a failed oil business in which he appears to have done some insider trading (Harken Energy), running a baseball team, and being Governor of Texas, a largely ceremonial role. Throughout his career, he has traded on his daddy's money and connections.
What makes him such a target for the media is the contrast between his smug certainty in the rightness of his policies and the disastrous impact his policies are having, whether it be in domestic policy or foreign policy. Most people have the decency not to laugh at someone who is stupid, but someone who turns everything he touches to manure and who believes that God has put him on Earth to do so, well, that's an irresistible target.

There are not any "professionals" at guessing the IQ's of persons who have not taken normed assessments. persons with IQ's of ninety one do no longer earn Harvard MBA's. George Bush's SAT score grow to be 1206, which positioned him interior the 83rd percentile (basically sixteen% scored bigger). that's no longer Mensa high quality, regardless of the undeniable fact that it is not shabby the two. The SAT isn't an IQ attempt, yet SAT scores have a extreme (.eighty) correlation to IQ. most of the presidents whose scores have been guessed contain adult adult males whose IQ's have been formally examined. President Kennedy had an IQ of 119; the sua dissant professionals guessed 174. in accordance to the object, this wager grow to be in accordance with a million) his scholarly achievements (he graduated sixty fifth out of a hundred and ten in his extreme college type); 2) writings that he wrote on my own (Profiles in braveness grow to be probably ghosted by ability of Theodore Sorensen), etc. Does bill Clinton particularly have an IQ of 182? If there have been information that bill Clinton had an IQ in this selection, you will possibly have heard all approximately it. For assessment, Albert Einstein's person IQ grow to be in basic terms over a hundred and sixty, and Linus Pauling's grow to be 147. The qualifying score for Mensa is approximately 132. the generic extreme college grad has an IQ of one hundred and five; the generic college grad, one hundred fifteen. President Nixon had an IQ of 143; the professionals guessed one hundred fifty five. i might wish that graduate scholars of philosophy have a various generic of "evidence" than the Bakersville information service has. i might wish additionally that they could understand a hatchet activity.

IMHO thinking of Bush as stupid is a very dangerous mistake. He's very good at acting stupid, but one doesn't gain control of the most powerful nation in the world and take it into a nosedive (even as a corporate puppet) by being an idiot. While many laugh at him or feel sorry for him he escapes accountability because in the end if we believe he's an idiot we believe he doesn't fully understand what he's done or what he's doing and he can't be held accountable. Pretty smart if you ask me.

Bush seems like an idiot because he is the worst-speaking president that I have ever heard of, I'm 52! Remember, it was Bush and the evil genius Rove who thought of transforming the spoiled rich kid W., into a plain-spoken man of the people. Bush just went to far with that. Blame him, not the media.

George Bush is not the most articulate speaker, but that has less to do with intelligence than a test does. There are many politicians that say what people want to hear to gain public favor. There are others that say those things in stupid accents and make fools of themselves. A lot of politicians are just actors. George Bush has never said what he thought he needed to say to make himself popular, and it really doesn't matter.
