Insecurity, Because they feel a lack of confidence, or self assurance in themselve, They try to disprove that through bullying and finding things wrong with other people than themselves.

I don't know and I will never understand it. I'm with MrsB. The bullies have a choice. And I am bewildered by anyone who finds another's suffering and humiliation amusing. I just don't get it.

I don't think bullies have any excuse. They have a choice. There are just horrible people in this world that like the feeling of power over others. That's a fact.

Is easy just saying they are horrible and I agree with it...but not completely.
I have seen people who became bullies to stop being bullied and other who were to much under their friends influence.
Also if they are abused or see abuse in their families they grow-up knowing abuse is part of life...so they'll do it.
Is really sad many teenagers are bullies or bullied....I wonder what education are they getting from their parents?

I honestly don't know but I have seen a lot of it, and it is sad for the one getting bullied.

Because they are w***ers who possibly have been bullied themselves but feel the need to try to take power away from someone else!

They do it because they feel inadequate/bad about themselves and putting someone else down makes them feel powerful/good - sad as that is.
