This isnt just any clothing, Its Army gear so it is like a polyester. The duct tape was stuck on them for about a year then pulled off. All the sticky stuff came off but theres still stains from where it was. I have tried Goo-Gone and Oxy Clean. Any Suggestions?

Aloha from Down Unda!
'Like' Polyester? Not heavy wool surge? Ummmm...I'd probably use mineral spirits, a soft brush & regular lighter fluid often works. Be sure to be CAREful, patient & allow the fluids to disolve the glue but persistence & elbow grease usually removes the problem! Also use warm soapy water to neturalize the chemicals. You may find that it will require more than just one or two efforts. Tennacity!

one way is by using kerosene, however, if the material is delicate, then try using masking tape. Stick a strip of masking tape onto the area. Then rub it well into the area making sure that the masking tape sticks onto the residue. once that is done, just strip the masking tape off the area using one quick motion. chances are you will find most of the residue on the sticky side of the masking tape.
