yes...I don't mind not understanding the words. if the melody is good, and the voice is beautiful, you get the feeling behind it. sometimes it's very inspiring too, since you just imagine what the song is about, and in that way it becomes very personal to you.

A friend of mine got me into world music. He listens to Cuban, Portuguese, Japanese, and Brazilian music.

all the time.....I've practically learn what little Japanese I know from listening to J-POP (Japanese pop music).......and my one of my friends use to have me listen to some of her Spanish-speaking songs
