Lol fools...

Windows Xp took years to perfect and stabilize.. When Windows Vista becomes the standard lol... Wow.

But the guys up there are WRONG. (Well most of them)...

You see Apple has made their own program or software called Boot Camp which allows you to boot into any Windows of your choice (wonder why you'll do that?).

There are Parallels which allows you to run Windows on another "window" within the Mac OS X or just gives you the Windows start bar w/o the ugly background.

VMwareFusion lets you basically merge Windows w/ Mac OS X so you can run Windows applications on Mac OS X.

Wine lets you install Windows app and lets you run them on Mac OS or Linux. I guess you can say Vmware and Wine are kind of the same thing. I think Wine is free though.

Btw, Apple's version of Windows? No such thing, all you need is just Windows CD (OEM CD are MUCH cheaper) and you can install the thing w/ Bootcamp etc.

Hopefully when you run Vista like I have you'll learn that Mac is the way to go for the future. Good luck. (Btw I think you need Intel Macs to run Windows on a Mac)

I believe that Microsoft does have an apple version of Windows XP. However, even if this not the case. Apple does have a PC Emulator in which you should be able to run windows XP. or at the very least various windows programs. Hope that helps.

Apple has a free program called "Bootcamp: which will allow Windows to run on any Mac with an Intel processor. If you have an older Mac without Intel, you can find programs on ebay (virtual pc) that would allow you to run Windows, but it'll slow it down.

Just Ebay the Apple -- trust me, its not worth the hassle trying to use XP on Mac.

you can get a software from apple that lets you install windows there and still keep your mac stuff... so you would have both to use as you need it
