It's 6.2 miles..takes about 10 to 12 minutes unless I have to wait for a coal train, then it takes 10 to 15 minutes longer.
The other trains clear the crossings in 3 to 6 minutes...I have five sets of tracks to cross to get to work....3 single tracks and 2 double tracks.

It's about 10-15 miles to work, and depending on traffic, it canbe a nice 20 minute ride, or a stressful 45 minute road rage-a-thon.

I am lucky... my new office is only 15 minutes from my house. So, day to day it's no big deal.
Now, I do have to travel quite a bit on business. I have offices all over the country. Today, i'm in New Jersey. I'll be in DC in 3 days.... woo hoo! lol!

Just a few miles and less than 5 minutes. I'm lucky that way. Both my home and my company are located just at the edge of town.
