i went out at like 2 o clock this morning and saw a couple meteors!

Fresh strawberry and white chocolate sundae

Serves 4



Preparation time less than 30 mins

Cooking time less than 10 mins







Ingredients
200g/7oz white chocolate, chopped
400ml/14fl oz double cream
450g/16oz strawberries, quartered
2 tbsp icing sugar
2 tbsp kirsch
mint, to garnish



Method
1. Put the chocolate into a heatproof bowl over a pan of simmering water and heat until almost melted.
2. Remove from the heat and leave to melt completely.
3. Stir until smooth.
4. Pour in the double cream, whisking all the time.
5. Whisk until thickened and cream holds its shape.
6. Place strawberries, icing sugar and kirsch into a pan and heat for three minutes.
7. Remove from the heat and allow to cool.
8. Place a little of cooled strawberry mixture in the bottom of a serving glass.
9. Add a layer of cream mixture.
10. Repeat layering until glass is full.
11. To finish, top with strawberries and mint garnish.

I went out for about 10 minutes last night and didnt see anything and I came back in. They said on the news that there can still be some the following 2 nights.

I live right in the middle of a city and you can't ever really see the stars, but I tried to catch some meteors but failed to see any.

Yes I did, I was on a camping trip with family when at two in the morning we saw a few flashing lights across the sky heading across the lake!!

i could have enjoyed to, as i like astronomy. The sky became sparkling, so visiblity, different than the consistent issue of city nighttime easy, I could have been waiting to work out them (theoretically), regardless of the undeniable fact that, i did no longer extremely have the prospect. See the assertion with reference to the extreme point of light from the city panorama (curse that city easy pollutants!) the applicable viewing became additionally way after my bedtime!

I'm in a City, and cannot see any light in the night-sky except for the glow of the city reflecting off of the occaisional cloud.

I was working last night in my bar. I stepped out for a quick little brake around 1AM and I saw one go by. It was kind of cool. But kind of depressing as it reminded me what was happening and I was trapped inside pouring swill for drunk idiots.
