Create a lottery system where the students will get free things like late to class passes, 1/2 detention time, NO running for a month in gym class. The lazy kids would love that. These things are free, but the school has to do it if they want a year book.
The other option collect endless amount of cans and recycle them for money unless a teacher is already doing that in the school or have a bake sale where the profits would offset the price of the yearbook letting the poorer kids buy it.
I myself only bought one year book in the 7th grade. I thought 80 bucks was to much for a yearbook when i was in high school.

Set up a table (covered in school colors) to take orders at football games or other sporting events up to the deadline. That way, when the students are fired up with school spirit it will remind them to get a yearbook to remember those times with their class-mates!

Well, as you know, everyone actually needs TWO books!
The first one is for writing your serect messages to your friends.
THe second one willbe kept pristine and you can look at it years later with your familiy because you won't want your kids to read the stupid stuff your friends wrote to you in high school!
