I just told my sons caseworker in no uncertain terms what I thought of their "plan" for me as pertains to my son. I also told them what I thought of their system...Should I have, perhaps, thought a little bit before speaking?

Dumb Bunnies want me to have extensive mental Health work-up and take parenting classes and lots of other crap...at MY expense.
He's the last of 7 kids that all turned out just great!

Tell them all to go to hell. He's your son. Never take any kind of B.S. from petty bureaucrats.

you always have the right to speak your mind. I had an open case with CPS [false charges brought by a neighbor]. I told the caseworker what I thought of their plan and her personally, since we had a real conflict, I went to her supervisor and asked for a new c/w. even if you dont agree with the plan, you may have to follow it just to get them off your back

I believe the best person to parent a child is the parent and would have plenty to say to a caseworker with a plan for me....I can be sure you were assertive without being rude...don't sweat it til you have to.

You have every right to stand up for yourself and to request a new caseworker. Until you're in court, nothing that caesworker says is written in stone. With your other kids backing you up, I don't see how this can turn out in anyway unfavorably for you.

Probably so! It's hard to calm down sometimes when it comes to your child, maybe they will realize that and be kind. Maybe they get that all the time ! People like that are very "programmed" they put everyone in the same genre, unfortunately.
At this point, it might be damage control, so be cautious, and think before you speak.
Good Luck!

1st of all, Always think before speaking.
2nd, If you and/or your son have a caseworker it's for your own good. They don't assign caseworkers just to screw with people.
3rd, If you don't like it, it's probably because you don't want yourself and/or your son to be held accountable for your/his actions.
When a person is protected from the natural consequence of there actions they are robbed of the lesson and the ability to grow and change.

That all depends on why your son has a case worker in the first place.
