Why do you care? Why must you compare yourself to others? What difference does it make to you as a human being? Our brain exists to percieve reality and the world around us. Its caliber in comparison to others is irrelavant. The Intelligence Quotient merely reflects the corrolations of your education and their ideals. If you are blind and are unable to answer a single question, does that mean you are unintelligent? What difference does it make whether you are blind visually or blind towards the ideals of the designers of the test, in the sense that the IQ test is not designed to assess every single aspect of your mental capacity?

Over 140 - Genius or near genius

120 - 140 - Very superior intelligence

110 - 119 - Superior intelligence

90 - 109 - Normal or average intelligence

80 - 89 - Dullness

70 - 79 - Borderline deficiency

Under 70 - Definite feeble-mindedness

Normal Distribution & IQ Scores
The properties of the normal distribution apply to IQ scores:

50% of IQ scores fall between 90 and 110

70% of IQ scores fall between 85 and 115

95% of IQ scores fall between 70 and 130

99.5% of IQ scores fall between 60 and 140

you are -90 - 109 - Normal or average intelligence

which is very good =).

The concept of IQ as a measure of intelligence is a flawed notion. Consider this: those who score highest are rich, white, and male. This does not show that rich white men are smartest; rather, it shows that IQ tests have a strong cultural bias. Secondly, average IQ scores have been rising every year, with nothing to explain them. To put it into perspective, if Einstein were around today, his IQ score would not even be average.
In a nutshell, your IQ score really means nothing. So many other things should be factored into a person's intelligence besides knowing who won an imaginary race or how many triangles there are in a picture.

The average is 100 on most IQ test with a standard deviation of 15. So its not bad, its pretty much average.

At IQTest.com you are in the 68% area of people tested, between 85 and 114. This does not mean you will not do well in school, in fact it may make you more determined grade wise to pay attention and get details that people with above average IQ miss because they have the basic principles and drift off in class (the answerer knows about this!). If you are unsure of anything being covered don't be worried about looking dumb, asking questions is a sign to the instructor you are trying and they will be more receptive to you all in all.

Your IQ score falls within the "average intelligence" bracket....which there's nothing to be ashamed of. If you look at the general intelligence of this nation on a whole...most folks, in my opinion, would score much lower.

I know mine's at a 123 score, which is in the "high intelligence" bracket...and I can get schooled by folks in the smarts department pretty easily. I'm affluent in understanding the concepts for things as complex as Quantum sciences....but I don't understand the actual mathematical parts to save my life.

We're all good at what we do well at....nothing more and nothing less. I'm great with linguistics, history, and a few other things. You'll have what you have for talents, and you'll have your own weaknesses....focus on the strengths and you'll do just fine in life. Don't sweat the score...it's just a score, and no employer asks for it.

It is average...but IQ is very subjective. I wouldn't establish any IQ until multiple tests of various types have been taken.

Seriously, I've gotten 131, 145, 162, and 120. That tells you how reliable/accurate IQ tests can be.

In IQ of 100 is average. But, since you picked the handle "love" I suspect you already know that the secret to life is not intelligence, but love. Keep on loving and don't worry about "intelligence."

100 is average so you're good. Plus IQ isn't everything, can you survive in your environment well enough without a high number? IQ is culturally bias anyway.

You are considered mentally retarded at 70
Average = 100
Genius = 140+

Sounds like you fall right in the middle. Don't live by a number.

BTW, I have known people with a genius IQ who were total idiots (my ex husband for one). Being well read and of good heart is WAY more important.
