I am not going to say that it is the best place to get stuff but it definitely works. I will admit that it is a better place to buy clothing because there is a much bigger selection and a lot of different price ranges. Also since they buy in bulk ***** can offer better packages on boards, boots and bindings. One thing that you need to be careful of at ***** or any other store like that is buying this years models as they often have the older ones and try to pass them off as this years. I would just suggest to shop around.

Don't be a Dick. Unless your local Dick's is in a location near a major resort area, chances are the staff there has only had some quickie course on snowboards and only knows about the brands they carry. You may find the board you are looking for at a big chain store and if you do, by all means buy it. However if you buy from an indie shop or even a small chain chances are you will get better service should you need to get the board tuned, need accessories, or encounter problems.

Depends upon what you're looking for. I've found their prices to be a little higher than I expect for a big box store, but I'm not really close to any good snow. In the DC area I've found them to be pretty comparable to all the smaller shops, so I spend my money at the smaller shops. The smaller shops tend to actually be people who actively participate in the sport, not just kids with an after-school job. They also know the gear better than most of the folks you'll find in the big stores, even the brands they don't carry.

Go to a real shop where they actually know about the stuff they are selling. Dick's is just a place that sells a bunch of crap that the workers don't know nothing about.

i offered assorted my kit from the-abode. they're extremely helpful, your applicable guess could be to call them from the toll loose quantity. that way they are able to tell you despite if a kind runs small or massive. and the wax dosent count, artificaial snow is stll genuine snow, purely made with compressed air. its purely heat or chilly that concerns. in case you like which could be a stable question for the individuals on the-abode they're placed in the twin cities and that they have got alot of guy-made snow there.
