Isn't he the one who is suppotive of gay marriage? Any sane person would know how wrong that would be and how it would dilute the real meaning and purpose of marriage and family. And he's probably very liberal in other areas, good Americans know that is not someone they want in the White House.

This may be the worst answer I've ever seen on all of Yahoo Answers. Congratulations. Nobody cares about your extremist christian right wing views. Saying that "good Americans" wouldn't want a liberal in the White House is the same kind of bs that we've been hearing since Bush came into office (Patriot Act, etc.) Saying that any "sane person" would oppose gay marriage is completely ignorant and I'd have to say the statement of a lunatic.
He's not higher in the polls because the media pays no attention to him. The media doesn't pay attention to him because his policies wouldn't be good for the multi-billionaire owners of most of these media outlets. He also doesn't have corporate sponsors or take money from lobbyists, meaning he doesn't have the advertising power that the rest of them do. He has hands down won most of the Democratic debates (which is amazing considering how many questions are only followed up by Clinton, Obama, and Edwards) but Americans vote for who they're told to vote for. Right now, the media is tellng Americans to vote for Clinton, Edwards, or Obama on the Democrat side.

Congressman Kucinich supports national health care (Medicare for all), an immediate pull out of American troops from Iraq, and the impeachment of Dick Cheney. He gets my vote.
He is low in the polls because he's a little bit funny looking and sometimes appears awkward on TV. The corporate media finds him unattractive and radical.
Many Americans are backward thinking. They would rather have this perverse system that rewards health care providers when they withhold health care. They think that gay marriage will corrupt the country. And they favor charisma over character.

Because he's delusional.
Things like socialized health care, ending free trade, eliminating half of the military.... these are all things that couldn't even if Kucinich somehow got elected.
The one time someone let him in charge of any area (when he was mayor of Cleveland) he became the first mayor to lead a town into bankruptcy since the Great Depression. Atleast our federal government has enough safe guards in the legislative and judicial branches to prevent Kucinich from ruining this country. They'd just laugh at his nonsense.

Kucinich belongs either in a straight jacket or wearing a big red nose with a rainbow fro!

People who agree with him are not optimistic about his campaign because he did so poorly four years ago against John Kerry.

The best thing you can about the Congressman is that he doesn't stutter.

Becauce the media won't put honest canidates out there who aren't backed by coporate sponsers... His platform is almost perfect.. I admire him and Ron Pau both, their policies will benefit the United States drastically.... They want to stand up for the everyday American, hopefully people can just wake up and see that

There are too many candidates and it's hard for the news organizations to find the time to focus on each one individually.
