It's really hard to let go of a friendship when its no good for you. It feels like a divorce of sorts. Have you ever experienced this? Was it long and drawn out? Was it really for the best even though it was really hard?

This just happened to me about 2 month ago - we were packing to leave to move to a new state and I told her mom that we were moving and I thought she would like to see us before we left but she never showed up, it hurt like h*ll that she did that to me but then I guess it was for the best - she quite coming around for the last 3 years (she remarried) oh, well her lose.

Yes, because she turned out to be a lying skank who was banging my boyfriend, all the while telling me that he was cheating. She just left out the fact the she was the woman he was cheating with. I think that's why I only have 3 female friends.

I divorced a friend. It was short and sweet and kind of nasty... but it was definitely for the better

yep. plus the restraning order. but i actually felt good about it, sorry for her because she was such a jerk(and thought she wasn't) but happy because i no longer had to deal with her.
