“Do you think the war in Iraq is worth it ?”

Dude… “it” hasn’t been worth the cost of the first flight over Iraq… “Shock & Awe” was like a frickin’ fireworks display at George’s birthday party. Our government has no clue what it is the American people actually want.

No, it wasn't worth it, and the invasion of Iraq was one of the biggest blunders in American history. If the boobs in the Bush administration had listened to their generals, sent competent people to run Iraq, and actually planned on what to do after achieving victory, it would not have been nearly as bad.

As for the immigration question, the Dems are more to blame for the 12 to 30 million illegals in the USA than the Repubs. The majority of Dems voted for the Shamnesty bill in the senate while the majority of Repubs voted against it. If we
elect a Dem president and Congress in 2008, the first thing that they will do is give amnesty to all the illegals, especially if the winner is Obama, he loves the illegals and actually marched with them.

I do not think the war is worth the cost no.
I am not opposed to killing our enemies (war) yet I do not see an American benefit to spending more than a trillion dollars on Iraqis, or American lives to benefit Iraqis.

I however do think we should be attacking and killing those in the middle east that are enemies of the United States.

I also agree that illegal immigration is a massive problem for the United States but I do not think the Democrats are at all the solution to that problem (rather they will significantly increase the problem).

No. Whatever nominal gain we may get out of installing a puppet regime in Iraq will be heavily outweighed by the cost we incur by destabilizing an already hostile Middle East.

No, it was not. The U.S. Government invaded Iraq and is now occupying it because they think that they have every right in the world to tell others how to live. The very presence of U.S. troops and their allies is fueling the chaos that is now in Iraq. The U.S. should get out of Iraq A.S. A. P.

NO, i support the troop because both my parents died of military related issues in the gulf war, i feel that the gulf war was a justified war our moral fiber was being challenged but now, greed and lust for more on behalf of George himself is driving this war, we have suddam, osmama up in a cave hiding somewhere, and now we just have all our sons and daughters over there trying to rebuild what bush ordered to be done ugh

I thought it was a good idea at first but I don't anymore. At first I didn't care if it was mainly about protecting oil interests because if a few thousand terrorists were taken out along the way, fine. But this clusterfvck has turned into a no win situation and there is truly no end in sight.

What do you mean by worth it? Was going in to Iraq originally worth it or is winning worth it? The former is debatable but the latter is not - we have to win. The United States lost a lot more money than that because of 9/11. It's a good idea to spend as much money as we have to to prevent another 9/11.

I still support the war, but do admit that it probably wasn't the best idea to invade back in 2003. But we are there now and need to get things under control before we leave. Isn't hindsight great?
