Take this in 2 parts
6 < x + 4 and x + 4 <_11

First we'll do
6 < x + 4
Subtract 4 from both sides to get
6 - 4 < x + 4 - 4

2 < x

Next

x + 4 <_11

subtract 4 from both sides to get

x + 4 - 4 <_ 11 - 4
x <_ 7

Putting the 2 pieces together,
2 < x and x <_ 7, we get 2 < x <_ 7

2 < x <_ 7 is your answer
