Why doesn't yahoo REALLY check into the reports made?

I agree with you on that 100%! I don't know why they do it either...just a lot of mean spirited people doing what they do best...I guess! I only tried to contest a violation 1 time & never got anything done so I have just stopped trying! I don't think yahoo really cares one way or the other about all the injustice that goes on here! 8^(

In the Y!A today, there are more users joining into the community and thus, leaving the security of the place vulnerable. This is how the trolls got their chances to stroll in the park to destroy our Q&As. Some are doing this for the fun of it, some are doing this just out of jealousy without looking at themselves, while others are frustrated of the security of Y!A that they decided to join in the "fun".
As for Y!A, they are too busy with the emails that they do not know what to start with. Soon, one of us may have to step up and give a nasty letter to Yahoo! saying that this place is full of craps as the security is never protected well enough.

I agree with you and wish Yahoo would check out reports. I would get less violations and people would know they were being treated fairly.
I do not like it here anymore. There are too many hating and reporting people and the fun is gone.

Y!A, like other Cyberian outposts, has been infected with an epidemic that Y! doesn't seem to want cured. The name of this sickness is VBT, or Violation By Troll. Its origins stem from an automated anonymous reporting system.
It does not affect the automated systems where there is little, if any, proactive human intervention on behalf of the hosts. However, VBT has demonstrated a marked increase in the use of operational defensive measures by the hosts' very human symbiotes.

I really think Yahoo! should check into the reports made, some acounts get deleted just because of jealousy.

This is the YahHell haters forum.
Every time I log in, I give Judas Rabbi an abuse report.
Every time I make a new account I go to him and report him again.
I need to give the same consideration to Thriller.
YahHell wants us to report people because that is what they get paid to do, delete and suspend people.
For some reason Rabbi and Thriller seems exempt from deletions and suspensions. That's why I do it, just to test my theory.

Why doesn't Y/A set a limit on the number of reports for a set period of time ????
Ohhhhhhhh that would sooooo help stop the nonsense reporting !!

I don't know what the problem is but something needs done. Maybe the kiddies are pissed they have to go back to school, who knows. They should really look at how many times a particular user reports "abuse".
