Is it true you burn 26 calories when u kiss for one min.?
i read this in a magazine but i don't understand how that is posible... explian plz

Well, first off, there are lots of varieties of kissing...
Anyhew, kissing gets the body revved up, the heart beats faster, respiration increases...that raises the metabolism, which burns more calories.
Also, usually, one's hands are moving, maybe the body swaying...

You burn calories regardless of what you're doing. If you were to lie in bed all day sleeping, your body would still be burning calories (check out basal metabolic rates). So, utilizing muscles in your face to kiss would certainly burn calories. (26 calories is very little in any case...)

No. YOu dont even burn 25 calories running 200 meaters let alone kissing.

I found out about this too, but I read it from a Snapple bottle cap.
Sorry, I have no idea about this either.
By the way, do you buy bottles of Snapple and read the "Real Facts" under the bottle caps?

I've heard that too. I really hope it's true but I kiss my boyfriend a lot and I'm still the same haha.

dont forget your muscles in your mouth and down your chin,
threw your neck and to your arms.
your fat collects threw the arms and can hold alot of fat
belive it or not your arms can also make you lose alot of weight. using alot of muscles to lose weight.
you can eat one cookie and it could gain you alot of
calories. kiss and burn the calories.

well that is something I will have to look into. sounds fun and if you are kissing as well as other things do you burn more.
