yes, I just tested out this theory since I'm pregnant and it came back positive. LH and HCG are very very simililar. The ovulation test looks for the part that they both have, so it can test for both. A pregnancy test looks for the very small difference in them, so it will only detect pregancy. With the ovulation test the rule is the same though, the test line needs to be darker that the control line for it to be posiitve for pregnancy..

Ovulation tests examine to work out the quantity of hormone on your urine to attempt to hit upon in case you will ovulate. Ovulation tests unfortunatly at the instant are not one hundred % on despite in case you finally end up ovulating. they are able to easily inform you in the journey that your ranges are extreme adequate. yet whilst your egg cant get out or you have a blocked passage way you nonetheless will possibly no longer ovulate even regardless of the indisputable fact that the attempt could say you will interior of X volume of time. in case you're searching for out in the journey that your pregnant, then you certainly could take a being pregnant attempt. It tests for a completley distinctive hormone then the ovulation tests attempt for. stable success!

This does work, but don't use it as a for-sure thing. Ovulation tests check for LH and the pregnancy hormone. If you have a positive ovulation test, you could be ovulating or you could be pregnant. Pregnancy tests don't detect LH, so if you get a positive on one of those, you're definitely PG!

Ovulation predictor kits detect the surge in luteinizing hormone (LH) in your urine just before ovulation. There are other things like changes body temperature and cervical mucus that indicate ovulation. In an ideal world, if it is reading that you are ovulating, that would be a sign that you are NOT pregnant, since pregnant women do not ovulate. BUT they're not foolproof. So I would recommend taking a pregnancy test.

You can, but it's not a good to because you would not know if you really were pregnant or just ovulating. I would just buy a pregnancy test to be safe.

Um... no?
I don't understand your reasoning here. It's going to tell you when you're ovulating (or not). I suppose if you had one of the kinds that you can use repeatedly, and it tells you everyday for a month that you're NOT ovulating, this would point towards pregnancy. But, if it shows positive, it means you're ovulating-- and you don't ovulate when you're pregnant.
