One really good thing, perhaps the most important thing of all, is that our Congress spent the time to come up with the name, which is "Uniting and Strengthening America by Providing Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism", and that forms the acronym USA PATRIOT.

No wonder these guys make the big bucks.

Another really great thing about it is that the entire Act is totally illegible to anyone that doesn't have the US Code handy to cross-reference the Act to the sections it amends so they can know just what it really says. Talk about a clever way to obstruct terrorism! They'll have to spend loads of money on lawyers just to see what's legal and what's not!

I think another important thing in the Act is Section 102, where Congress went out of their way to let their Arab friends know that they (not necessarily America, but don't hold that against us!) harbored no ill will against Arabs, Asians, or anyone else that might be a terrorist, and even promised that Americans who resort to violence against Muslims would be subjected to the fullest power of the law. I feel so safe knowing which side Congress is on, don't you?

You only need know two things about the Patriot Act. It is a threat to the individual freedoms of the America people and the American people are a bunch of sheep to allow the Patriot Act to be implemented when the borders haven't even been secured.

on a similar time as i might agree that Rove and the bunch are finished of you recognize what, the 5th modification is definitely one of our constitutional rights. in case you're for conserving the form which judging by utilising your disdain for the Patriot Act i might say you're then you fairly could have no problem with the electorate of this united states pleading the 5th.
