Patriots stand together for there own good. They do not remain apathetic and divided until the powers that be unite them to support their agendas?
We must stand together. We don't need a leader that supports our views on specific issues. We need a leader that will defend our freedom and civil liberties as a whole. I don't want to hear another word about abortion, gay rights or any other controversy until I know that my freedoms are safe and in tact with my own government.
I don't fear foreign terrorist I fear domestic terrorist empowered with our trust.
I am a pro war conservative. I am against welfare, medicare and most tree hugging hippie liberal crap. Although I do understand the importance of what is being preached. The system is not set up for liberal ideology. I am a realist. But I will fight to free our minds and move toward a More harmonies intelligent society.
1st we must put our issues aside, stand together and remove the power from an overly corrupted government.

All I hear about is political agendas that separate us. While we bicker about what we want and explain our bias, we are all loosing.
Our freedoms are sliding down a hill of oil and deceit. Don't you dare put blame on the Republicans. Don't you dare put blame on the Democrats. You are the ones to blame, the people that allowed this country to be divided and concord by money power and corruption.

Every citizen of the planet earth can agree on the inaccuracies of the 9/11 Official Commission Report.
This short music video gives some examples:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rVBd03ibziM
I just don't think that everybody wants to unite under one common ground. Especially those that were really evil enough to plant the explosives nor those that are benefiting from the death and destruction that continues in Afghanistan & Iraq.
Just as the laws of Physics state that a body in motion tends to stay in motion and that it requires energy to stop it. I believe that peoples behaviour is similar. If you are content with your life you don't want to change it. This holds true for wealthy, the disappearing Middle Class and those that have become accustomed to living with Welfare.
My research into the events of 9/11 go back before I was born with the creation of the CIA. I feel partly responsible for what is happening because as a junior in high school I was to busy going to school, playing sports and going camping when JFK was executed and covered up with the Warren Report supporting the "lone gunman" theory. Somehow I feel that if they were stopped there, the world would be a different place now.
JFK was against secret organizations and I believe it cost him his life.

Woodrow Wilson gave a speech to Congress 10 months before WWI ended in 1918. I have copied part of his speech below:
"The program of the world's peace, therefore, is our program; and that program, the only possible program, all we see it, is this:
1. Open covenants of peace must be arrived at, after which there will surely be no private international action or rulings of any kind, but diplomacy shall proceed always frankly and in the public view. "
The entire speech can be found at:

I was raised to leave wherever I went, in better condition than when I left. Sadly I have not done that on a global scale. I hope that I didn't wake up so late that I won't be able to correct things for the better. I am doing my best.
The focus point should be an open and independent international investigation into the events of 9/11 and bringing those criminals to justice.

Sadly, no. There is no common ground. At the most basic level, I abhore having my wage "jacked" by the government and spent in ways objectionable to me. I will never accept the amount I am robbed of now, much less the increases to come.
Those on the left will never accept the current income taxation rate -- ever. Much less the abolition of all involuntary taxes.
So where is the middle ground?
When a nuclear weapon explodes in a U.S. city -- and nuclear experts say it is just a matter of time -- the right will consolidate power in the U.S. and we will move too far, too fast to the right. All because the left has aligned itself with defeatist rhetoric too far to back-track from. When America reacts to an attack that makes 9-11 look like a warm-up, who will they turn to for revenge ( not justice;) the Democrats?
The fascist threat feared by the left is real, they just don't realize that they are the ones laying the tracks for it.
If there were no communists, there would never have been any fascism in the world.
Thanks alot, Demagogues -- and for the record, we conservatives really didn't want fascism.

Hmmm...as the self appointed leader of the neo-Moderate movement I am intrigued by your words, but I have reservations.
Please describe in more detail what you mean by "domestic terrorist." By the context and overall body of the exposition, I am inferring that you mean "those who voice opposition to the war." Is that correct or not?
If so, I have to disagree. I believe that it is every Americans right, if not DUTY, to question our elected officials in every manner possible. We must speak out. That is the notion upon which our democratic-republic is founded. We can debate this further once I get a firm grasp of what you mean.
I do believe that we need to come together and heal the divide that has separated our country. Debate and discourse are strongly encouraged, but we arent doing that, we are shouting and slinging mud. That must stop and it must stop now.
As an aside, Medicare is here to stay. Millions of baby-boomers arent going to allow anyone to take it and other programs like it away. They like to vote you see, and as they retire, they are going to have a lot of time to tell Pols what they think *grin*.

To the lesser of us, for the greater of all, we are America, let us not forget those that would sacrifice there greatest liberty for the liberty of others.-me
We live in a country where both the majority and minority must work together in order to survive, it is our survival as a country that is at stake, can't we stand on that as a people?

ALLTHOUGH WHAT YOU WRITE MAKES ATREMENDOUS
AMOUNT SENSE,IN MY OPINION IT IS MUCH TOO LATE.WE
AS AMERICANS HAVE COME TO THE CROSS ROADS
OF DIVISION.WHAT NEEDS TO HAPPEN IN THIS COUNTRY
IS SOMETHING EXTREMELY DRASTIC.9/11 AT THE TIME
WAS A SCHOCK AND WE DID UNITE.BUT,AS CRUEL AS IT MIGHT SOUND,WHAT WE NEED IS FOR 9/11 TO HAPPEN AGAIN AND AGAIN UNTIL IT'S POUNDED INTO THE SOFTMUSHED BRAINS THAT THINK IT WAS JUST A FLUKE AND THAT IT CAN NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN,THAT IS UNTIL IT HAPPENS AGAIN.AS AMERICANS WE ARE A
BUNCH OF SPOILED BRATS THAT GET WHAT WE WANT AND WHEN WE WANT IT.WE HAVE NO IDEA HOW THE REST OF THE WORLD LIVES.THAT HATE THAT WE HEAR ABOUT COMING FROM OTHER COUNTRIES IS HATE OF ENVY.WE WILL NEVER READ ABOUT AN AMERICAN TRYING TO SNEAK INTO A FOREIGN COUNTRY,THE FOREIGNERS ARE TRYING TO GET HERE.BUT,AND I REGRET TO SAY WE HAVE MORE LOVE AND RESPECT FOR THEM THAN WE DO FOR OUR OWN.THAT'S SAD.AND THAT IS JUST ONE OF MANY REASONS WHY WE DESPERATELY NEED AN
AWAKENING.

Of course there are things which unite Americans, however ideologically the debate will always continue.
We all want to get to the same place in life: To be able to take care of ourselves and our family and if it's not too much to ask, go on vacation somewhere nice. How we get there is where the debate comes from.
