I'm about to marry the man of my wallet's dreams. He's 87 years old, a real estate tycoon with tons of moolah, and I was wondering. His health is rather stable, he can get up and boogie, but he has back pains and arthritis. How long do you think I will have to put up with him? I've already invested 4 years into this deal.

You know, many people write to Yahoo Answers from desperation, because they have heartbreaking problems without apparent resolution and nowhere to turn--other than to total strangers.
Maybe you think it's funny to mock these persons, but I don't--and furthermore I doubt if any sensitive and kind potential answerers do either.
Somebody might really need some help, or just a chance to vent, and be turned off by your pathetic and insensitive humour.

you're kidding, right? the ones that you want to die, never do. i'm still waiting for my grandmother to die (more because of the drama she starts at her old age). i think she's gonna out live me. but, i still never wish death upon nobody. so, why don't you look at yourself as a care taker for the time being and make sure he's got a happy life for the short years he's got. and if what you're saying is true, you'll be more than compensated for your time.

to teach you a lesson, i am sure God would make him live a looooooooooooong time.
i know it's horrible, but how about if you die first? then you invested 4 unhappy years with a person for no reason. wouldn't that suck?
life is too short to be unhappy... find yourself someone that you love and love being with, money is not everything.
